KCP Racing was formed in 2013 by Bret Nehring and Matthew Barbara and in a short time has became a major force across the Midwest.
For the 2021 season, the team has hired young gun, Gio Scelzi. They will run a selected schedule that will include: the World of Outlaws Series, All Star Circuit of Champions and Knoxville Raceway.
2020- With a season no one expected due to circumstances out of anyones control the team ran as much as they could. After a great few seasons of running with Ian Madsen, the team went in a different direction and hired young driver, Gio Scelzi to finish off the season.
2019- Kicking off the season with a win at Tulare, Ian Madsen and the team ran again with the World of Outlaws.
2018- A milestone year for KCP Racing saw the team commit full-time to the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Claiming the World Finals opener feature event win, Madsen was crowned Rookie of the Year with the series.
2017- The team ran an ambitious schedule that saw them start out red hot during the early swing with the World of Outlaws. Turning attention to Knoxville Raceway, the team captured their second Track Championship.
2016- Saw the team once again be a force to be reckoned with, taking home 11 feature wins and finishing 3rd in the Knoxville Raceway Championship.
